Does your system support retentions schedules.
We have a Expiration Date that the user can set on each file in our system. We also have search functionality to allow users to search on this field.
The Expiration Date can be set by going into the document, opening the information panel (an arrow that expand this option) at the bottom of the document, and hitting the "Edit" button. Approval Date can also be set here.
Currently there is no automated process for promoting or retiring specific documents based on these fields. But users can set them and search on them.
